Petey, an evil cat that terrorizes the city, successfully rids himself of the city's best cop and K-9 partner until the hospital combines the two, creating a super cop, Dog Man. This movie is an adaptation of the children's comic book of the same name. The story is the age-old one of dog versus cat. The comedy is a mixture of slapstick and irony, allowing children and adults to enjoy it. The ideal audience is kids between 6 and 11, as younger children may not understand the story and comedy, and older children may find it corny and campy.
