Life did not go as expected for Song Yili. Beaten down by tragedy and misfortune, Song Yili decides to take his own life, but that does not go as planned. While recovering in the hospital, he meets a young, ill girl and goes on a road trip with her against his better judgment. As they journey together, he confronts his past and is forced to live in the present.
This movie has a lot of drama, with many different things happening to the protagonist in a short period. The story's underlying theme is that no matter how tough life gets, there is always a reason to keep living. While the movie is theatrical and has many complex topics, it adds comedy to keep it lighthearted and prevent it from getting too dark. With a runtime of one hour and thirty-eight minutes, the movie rolls along quickly to keep the emotional road trip going. This is a solid movie to add to your watchlist if you ever need an emotional catharsis.
